making a rare showing among cable TV ratings generally dominated by prime-time news programming on Fox News 

 MSNBC—the latest ratings award by a Yellowstone universe production.

The 90-minute finale of the single-season show starring Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Sam Elliott, and Isabel May was watched by 2.4 million people on Sunday,

making it the tenth-most-watched cable show last week, surpassing both NFL Network preseason football games (2.2 million and 2.1 million viewers, respectively).
