According to one NBA writer, the Phoenix Suns should make a blockbuster trade for Andrew Wiggins from the Golden State Warriors.
Fadeaway World's Lee Tran proposed the following deal between the Suns and Warriors.
"Overall, this trade gives the Phoenix Suns three high-quality players to round out their roster and add depth," Tran wrote in his most recent NBA trade column.
"While DeAndre Ayton is an excellent player, splitting him into multiple players to create a more balanced roster is more conducive to winning a championship than remaining top-heavy."
The Suns have an older roster, and depth is essential for surviving important player injuries.
This trade might be the move that propels the Phoenix Suns to the top of the Western Conference, and while moving Ayton is a risk, it is completely deserved in this circumstance.
"Wiggins was instrumental in the Warriors' six-game victory over the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals.
In October 2022, he agreed to a four-year, $109 million contract deal. Next season, the one-time All-Star will earn $24.3 million.
