Since Having Daisy, Katy Perry Explains Her Break

Although Katy Perry hasn't released any new songs in a while, the creative juices are still flowing!

The pop star revealed that she has been working on some "new material" but that she,

wants to perfect it first before releasing it so that she can spend more time with her daughter Daisy.

I haven't released any new material since my Darling Daisy, she said.

I believe that I write frequently and have written frequently from a place of love,

because I am experiencing an abundance of it -- an abundance of love that is unconditional,

and that you never knew existed. I write constantly and always have,

but I think what's really important to me is to be celebrating the world that I've got to build,
