Ons Jabeur is using Grand Slam final defeats as inspiration for the US Open: 'I don't want to go through it again.'

Jabeur has lost three Grand Slam finals in a year, including Wimbledon. The 28-year-old Tunisian, ranked No. 5, cried on the Wimbledon women's singles final court a month ago.

She lost the final for the second year in a row, but this time it hurt more.

I think this is the most painful loss of my career," Jabeur stated after the match.

Last year in Flushing, Queens, Jabeur lost to Iga Swiatek in the 2022 U.S. Open final. Jabeur has reached three Grand Slam finals but never won.

This week at the 2023 U.S. Open, Jabeur doesn't want to lose again, especially if she can win her maiden Grand Slam.

"Definitely that feeling, I don't want to feel it again," Jabeur told Fox News Digital about her U.S. Open relationship with Lotto Sport. "I want to win every match

The last Grand Slam of the season is different. I learned a lot from Wimbledon if I play another final."

She may not need to adjust anything mechanical. Unforced errors and superior shots from opponents happen too.
