NBA icon and Los Angeles Lakers champion Dwight Howard recently appeared on the "My Expert Opinion" show and offered some advice to Memphis Grizzlies standout Ja Morant.
"I don't know him personally," Howard confessed. "I'd love to talk to him about the situation, but I feel like he has so many people trying to reach out and talk to him
he probably just needs a chance to chill." He's 23 years old; image being 23 with [$200 million] from the NBA alone.
So he wants to experience all of these things that come with it, and we who are watching are saying, man, you gotta chill.
But we don't know what it's like for you. If I was to tell him, I would say, 'I know it's tough, I know you want to do this, but that character that you want to show to the world, leave that at home.
You have to be this character, even if it's difficult, and perform this part... It'll put you up for life."'
Howard acknowledged Morant's predicament, but offered some advise that he hopes would help the Grizzlies star get back on track following two firearms incidents.
