Demi Lovato and her manager Scooter Braun recently split ways, according to Variety. They had been working together since 2019.
According to a source, the decision was consensual and cordial; indeed, Braun shared a birthday message to her in his Instagram story yesterday, writing "Happy birthday to one of the kindest individuals out there.
Representatives for Lovato and Braun refused Variety's request for comment; Billboard broke the story first.
Her most recent album, the rock-oriented "Holy Fvck," debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
With 'Revamped,' I wanted to pay tribute to the songs that have resonated the most with fans and played a significant role in my career by breathing thrilling new life into them," Lovato stated in a press release.
Creating this project has been tremendously enjoyable and has allowed me to show my love of rock music in a unique way... I can't wait to tell everyone more.
During her time with Braun, Lovato recorded two albums: "Holy Fvck" and 2021's more pop-oriented "Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over.
She has been quite open about her difficulties with substance misuse and mental health, which Braun has supported.
