The NL West-leading Dodgers defeated the NL Central leaders 14-3 in three games. The Dodgers' 12th shutout of the season.
“It feels good to help the team win and scratch a run across for them and the pitchers did the rest,” said Barnes, a sparing backup catcher.
Lance Lynn faced 2021 Cy Young Award winner Corbin Burnes, who retired 10 straight, including six on strikeouts, but neither was involved.
Lynn struck out three, walked one, and allowed four hits in seven innings.
Burnes' sixth scoreless effort of the season allowed two hits in seven innings.
The right-hander walked two and struck out nine.
